## About Tom

Tom is Co Founder at Frively. His background is in large-scale technology, the kind of tools and infrastructure that have traditionally been out of reach for smaller businesses.

He started his career building software for education, before moving on to projects with global brands including Walmart. For the last five years, he has built and maintained a fully functioning salon management, marketing, and booking platform serving over 2,000 businesses and processing hundreds of thousands of transactions every month. Along the way, Tom became an expert in building enterprise-level websites and competing with international, highly funded brands.

Frively began with a conversation between Tom and Kate. They were talking about the local businesses around them and asking what would happen if the kind of global web technology Tom had been working with was applied to a business competing locally. At the time, Tom laughed and said, "Well, it just wouldn't be fair on the others, would it?" That was the moment Frively started.

One year on, Frively has built over a hundred high-performing websites. Without exception, those local businesses now dominate Google in their area, appearing routinely at the top for both branded and non-branded searches, and turning that visibility into more bookings, more conversions, more customers, and increased sales.

Tom loves nothing more than seeing small and medium-sized local businesses being championed and getting everything they richly deserve. At Frively, he gets to take the power and precision of enterprise-level web technology and put it to work for businesses that have never had access to it before. Nothing gets him going quite like watching a business that was invisible online suddenly start dominating its local market.

Outside of Frively, Tom is a dedicated family man, married with four children. He has worked alongside Kate for six years.
