Three pieces of one job

Hosting is where the site lives. Maintenance keeps it working once it is there. Speed is the part visitors feel. For sites we build and host, all three sit inside the monthly fee. The local SEO and reporting half of that fee is described under SEO.

What is covered, what can be undone, and what happens when something breaks.

What is the difference between hosting and website care?
Hosting is where the site lives. Care is everything that keeps it working once it is there: updates, security, version history, error reporting and speed. Hosting alone will happily keep serving a broken or badly out-of-date site.
Can a change be undone if it goes wrong?
Yes. Every published change is kept as a version, so any page can be put back to how it was before an edit. That is what makes it safe to keep improving a live site rather than leaving it alone.
My site is slow. Is that covered?
Speed work is part of care, and it is usually the difference visitors feel. If the slowness is structural, because the site was built in a way that cannot be made fast, we will tell you that rather than bill you for tuning something that will not get there.
What happens if something breaks?
You tell us, or the error reporting does. Fixes to the site we host and maintain are part of the plan, not a separate invoice. That is the whole point of the arrangement: nobody should have to weigh up whether a problem is worth reporting.
Can you look after a website you did not build?
No. Care is tied to the platform we build on, where hosting, updates, version history and speed are one system rather than a stack of plugins on a site we do not control. If your site is elsewhere, the way to get that care is to move onto our platform, which is what a rebuild does.
